The Central Florida Chapter of the National Black MBA Association, Inc. congratulates chapter member Courtney R. Powell on his recent recognition at the Eagle Award Ceremony by the African American Chamber of Commerce.  Mr. Powell’s company AceApplications LLC, received the Emerging Business Award , one of 4 awards presented to local minority-owned businesses that night.  
 
“Our annual Eagle Award Ceremony recognizes dedication to exceptional business delivery and industry expertise,” said Dr. Robert M. Spooney, Executive Director, African American Chamber of Commerce of Central Florida. “We are pleased to be able to showcase organizations that are diligent in their determination to help set the standard for excellence in the Central Florida African American business community.”
 
AceApplications, LLC is a technology solutions provider for business, government, and non-profits, delivering software development and IT consulting.  In addition to serving as President of AceApplications LLC, Mr. Powell is the Chair of the local chapter’s Corporate Partnership Committee.  He is also a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., serves on the City of Orlando Mayor's Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Commission, and mentors youth in the community.  

The Central Florida Chapter of the National Black MBA Association proudly represents more than 100 members across the I-4 Corridor (Daytona Beach-Orlando-Tampa-Lakeland).  The organization is committed to encouraging prosperity through economic and educational development initiatives that support the African American community.
