Stephanie Hampton-Best – President

Ms. Stephanie Hampton-Best is an experienced professional, with a diverse background that spans over 20 years in industries that includes banking, distribution, non-profit and supplier diversity. A member of the Central Florida Chapter since 2007, Stephanie has supported the local chapter in delivery successful programs for the last 7 years. Stephanie previously served as the Logistics Committee Chair and Executive Secretary, and currently serving as a LOT Mentor. She currently serves as Minority Business Program Specialist, with the Florida’s Turnpike Minority Business Office. Stephanie holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Winthrop University. Latrece James - VP Adminstration
Latrece James – VP Adminstration

LaTrece holds an undergraduate degree from Nova Southeastern University in Professional Business Management and an MBA from Kaplan University and is currently completing her Doctoral in Education from Nova Southeastern University. As Membership Chair of the CFLNBMBAA, she helps to increase membership by working with other committees to develop events. She also helps to incorporate new members into the organization, by making them feel welcome. She is a member of The National Coalition of 100 Black Women. She is also the Director of Programs & Services for Preserving our History, which is a not for profit organization specializing in curriculum and workshops, historical research, diversity and team building for people of all ages. She has a sincere passion for education and teaching and loves meeting and engaging with new people, which makes her perfect for the role as VP of Administration.

 Frandy Dorlus - VP Operations
Frandy Dorlus – VP Operations

Frandy M. Dorlus joined the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA) in 2013 and currently serves as the VP of Operations for the Central Florida Chapter in Orlando, Florida. Prior to this role, Mr. Dorlus was the Business Book Club Chair of the NBMBAA Central Florida Chapter, where he facilitated and lead engaging discussions among community members. Before coming to NBMBAA, Mr. Dorlus earned a B.A. degree in Art from the University of Central Florida. After completing his degree, he joined BlueToad, Inc. a digital publishing company that provides digital editions and mobile apps to publishers worldwide. There he serves as the Customer Service Manager maintaining responsibility of front-line operations, staff recruitment, budgetary spending and labor management. At BlueToad, he continues to develop keys areas of expertise including operations management, development & training, business development, and process improvement. Mr. Dorlus earned his M.B.A. from the University of Central Florida’s College of Business Administration in May 2015.

Mary Pompilus – VP Finance

Mary Pompilus received her undergraduate degree in Business Management and MBA from Florida A&M University’s School of Business & Industry. As VP of Finance, Mary provides meaningful accounting and financial analysis to the Central Florida Chapter in efforts to maintain efficient operations. Mary is committed to engaging chapter members in financial processes in order enhance financial career development. She is an Ethics and Compliance Manager with Darden Restaurants and is also the owner of First Love Collection, LLC, which provides organic skin care to those who have an affinity for a more natural lifestyle. She has a passion for encouraging people to aspire towards their personal and professional goals and to think smarter, not harder.

Maria Bell – Executive Secretary

HR Contractor that’s dynamic, multi-faceted, solutions-oriented human resource professional with abroad-scope experience; in recruiting, performance enhancement, employee relations, benefit administration training, professional development as well as change and talent management. Combining a unique blend of visionary leadership and executive business savvy needed to spearhead strategic planning and execution of core staffing, operational and administrative initiatives to drive HR, organizational and bottom-line financial performances for small and or large corporations.

Neila Wilson - Immediate Past President
Neila Wilson – Immediate Past President

Neila has been a member of the NBMBAA for 13 years and is a Lifetime Member. A 2005 Alumnus of the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College, Neila joined the local chapter in 2007 serving the Chapter in a variety of leadership roles. Today, Ms Wilson proudly serves the Chapter’s Immediate Past President and previously as our Vice President of Strategic Programming. She works hard to advance the goals of the organization and provide winning strategies, benefiting partners and members of the Central Florida chapter. Since joining the chapter, Neila established the monthly EES Speakers Series, Minority Small Business Consulting and the Chapter’s Business Book Club. With the implementation of these programs, the chapter has seen greater participation from potential sponsors and additional networking opportunities for members. Originally serving the chapter in the role of Partnership chair Neila is well rounded in all aspects of the Chapter’s success!
